I am so excited (and a little nervous) to begin The Daily 5 and Cafe in my class this year! I am in the middle of reading both books this summer and taking breaks to create some stuff I know I will need to use on my bulletin boards. I decided to do a set of Cafe Menu posters using superheroes, but I also have some super cute owl graphics (of course) and so I made a set using those as well. Each set includes the 4 Cafe headers (Comprehension, Accuracy, Fluency, and Expand Vocabulary). I posted both in my TPT store. Here is a preview for you. Let me know what you think!

So many people are talking about the Daily 5 and I have no clue what it is. I just looked it up on Amazon and ordered right up! =) Just from the description, it seems like that pendulum is starting to swing back the other way.... it only makes sense... how can we effectively differential if we never have time to? I never got that! (That what the description talked about.) Anyways... thanks for posting because you nudged me to look into and order it.

Love the look of your site. Welcome to blogging. Just a head's up...selling CAFE/DAILY5 materials violates their copyright. I only mention they tend to be pretty serious about protecting it and I would hate to see you put work into it and get in trouble. Can't wait to follow your blog. I teach 3rd also.
Thanks for the advice and heads up. I have an email sent out to "the sisters" and am awaiting their reply. There are a ton of cute D5 and Cafe creations on TpT. I would think that they would have already seen them or have been made aware of them by now wouldn't you? I will let you know what they have to say. Thanks again!
These are very cute!
